Onelia Hazzard, RN, Made the Diagnosis—She Was Itching for a Change
A registered nurse providing home health care for more than 10 years, Onelia was nearing retirement but wasn't ready to hang up her stethoscope. She wanted a change.
So she went back to school. Elementary school, that is. Working through a staffing firm, she put her skills to work as a full-time school nurse. Her position allowed her to enjoy new challenges and the benefits of a school-year schedule.
"I have my own flexible schedule, with weekends and holidays off, challenging assignments, and good pay," she says.
That's a prescription for success. |
