Study Materials for Exam

The first step in earning the Certified Staffing Professional™ and Technical Services Certified™ designations is to purchase the study materials that will help you pass the certification exam.

You may purchase study materials as individual products or as packages, which offer the best value. Download a price list of all the materials and packages and read descriptions of the products.

Already have the CSP™ or TSC™ exam materials and ready to take the exam? Refer to the letter you received with your study materials to locate the Web site address and unique ID for the online exam. If you can't find your ID or the Web site address for the exam, contact ASA at csp.tsc@americanstaffing.net.

Materials for New Certification Candidates

The complete package has the materials you will need to prepare for the exams including access to the online exam. In addition, you will need to review the ASA Code of Ethics and Good Practices. If your firm has purchased or is purchasing materials to share, you may only need to purchase individual products such as the workbooks and the online exam. Please note—the texts and workbooks were updated in 2007. To be fully versed for the exam, you'll need the most recent versions. (See product descriptions below)

The enhanced CSP and TSC programs include state-specific workbooks that will help you prepare for the state-specific portion of the exam. You may purchase state-specific workbooks and exams for all states in which you conduct business.

In addition to the topics reviewed in the CSP program, the TSC program includes per diem rules, worker classification, and H-1B visas. Anyone earning the TSC will automatically earn the CSP.

Additional Study Materials for Exam

ASA periodically updates the content of its certification study materials and federal and state certification exams. Review the federal and state management alerts to prepare for the CSP and TSC exams.

State-Specific Exam Materials for Current Certified Professionals

Update your designation and demonstrate to your clients that you have the knowledge and skills of state-specific labor and employment law. Purchase study materials and a 20-question exam for all states in which you conduct business.
