Tips on Submitting ASA Award Entries: Care, VOICE, and National Staffing Employee of the Year

Gain insight into how ASA awards can benefit you and your staffing firm or chapter. Discover award entry tips from a member of the ASA judging panel. Get answers to your questions about each award and its entry process.

ASA provides staffing companies a number of ways to earn recognition for the work that they do. Association awards present opportunities for members to connect with their communities and local media outlets.

During this Webinar, Tracy Rettie, ASA assistant vice president for chapter relations and education, and Reem El-Khatib, ASA public relations coordinator, will review details about the following ASA award programs. As with all Webinars, you'll be able to ask questions via a text chat window.

ASA Care Award: The ASA Care Award recognizes outstanding corporate social responsibility initiatives among ASA member companies and affiliated chapters. Rettie will share the importance of telling the world about your company's or chapter's corporate social responsibility initiative and coach you on how to submit your entry. A member of the award judging panel will discuss the importance of including details in your entry.

Staffing VOICE Awards: The Staffing VOICE Awards competition celebrates ASA members' communications efforts. El-Khatib will provide you with an overview to help you showcase your successful advertising campaigns, effective public relations programs, informative publications, and more by entering the Staffing VOICE Award competition.

National Staffing Employee of the Year Award: The National Staffing Employee of the Year is the temporary or contract employee who best exemplifies one or more of the staffing industry's five key messages—jobs, flexibility, bridge, choice, and training. El-Khatib will teach you how to nominate your staffing employees for this recognition and explain what kind of details to provide about nominees.

This 60-minute session, which is free for all participants, will give you the information you need to know as you consider which association awards your company or chapter should enter. You'll also learn how to best prepare to submit a winning entry.
