Knowledge Network is a session where attendees gather in small groups to discuss specific topics of interest to them. It’s an excellent opportunity to meet new people and form connections while getting fresh ideas on how to approach or implement a business strategy. There will be two opportunities for you to choose a subject for discussion. Each discussion round lasts 40 minutes and falls into one of these three categories:
- Sales and business development
- Recruiting, operations, and staff development
- Strategic issues for executives
You will be both teacher and student as you move from table to table to discuss topics such as these:
- Social networking
- Advanced recruiting and sourcing techniques
- Brand building
- Client development and retention
- Cold calling—most successful methods
- Consultative selling
- Contract negotiation
- Creative recruiting
- Team building
- Differentiate your company
- Disaster readiness
- Diversifying your business
- Finding skilled candidates
- Getting new business from reference checks
- Immigration reform
