Staffing World 2007 Makes a Stand

Near the Alamo mission, where a few hundred Texans once took a stand against the army of Mexican general Santa Ana, Staffing World 2007 opened Oct. 9 in San Antonio. More than 2,000 attendees took a stand for the advancement of staffing industry professionalism at the ASA annual convention and expo.

Attendees were inspired by keynote speakers Erik Weihenmayer, Seth Godin, and Dan Pink; exchanged ideas at the knowledge network session; took home new ideas from top-notch speakers in more than 40 workshops; and built a network of colleagues that will help improve their bottom line.

California, Here We Come

The biggest event in staffing is coming to sunny San Diego, Oct. 22–25. Make plans now to join thousands of industry professionals at Staffing World 2008.

In conjunction with Staffing World 2008, ASA will host the Ciett annual conference. As the International Confederation of Private Employment Agencies, Ciett is the global federation of national staffing trade associations—ASA and its counterpart organizations in dozens of other nations. Ciett representatives and members of the international staffing community will join Staffing World attendees for education, expo, networking, and fun.
