USS Midway VIP Tour

Enjoy a VIP tour of the USS Midway, the newest addition to San Diego's naval history. Having the distinction of being the first carrier to be named after a World War II battle, the USS Midway was launched in 1945 and had a long and prestigious career in the U.S. Navy. The Midway participated in actions in the Korean War, Vietnam, and Operation Desert Storm. Come learn what the "Midway magic" is all about.

After the private VIP tour you will have time to explore this floating museum on your own. There are 54 different areas of the ship to visit, including a new area called "Officers Country." This area of the ship features fire stations, a laundry room, the brig (jail), quarters, a kitchen, and dining halls.

Zookeeper for a Day

There are some beastly wonders at the world-famous San Diego Zoo and you'll be a part of it all during your private behind-the-scenes tour. Enjoy an up-close animal experience with either a giraffe, elephant, camel, or rhino. Following the behind-the-scenes tour, take time to explore the zoo and visit new and innovative exhibits. Recent additions and renovations to the zoo include the Giant Panda Research Station, Gorilla Tropics, Hippo Beach, Polar Bear Plunge, Scripps Aviary, Tiger River, and Sun Bear Forest. Fiesta Fun in Mexico

Learn how to bargain for handicrafts, marvel at the contrasting colors of the market, or just take in the sights that "TJ" has to offer during an afternoon in Tijuana, Mexico, located a few miles south of San Diego and just across the international border.

Begin your excursion into Mexico with an authentic Mexican lunch at Tijuana Tilly's restaurant. Located in the heart of the city, Tilly's is a lively, fun-filled restaurant next to the majestic Jai-Alai Palace. A mariachi band will greet you at the door while you enjoy a Mexican beverage in the atmosphere of Old Mexico.

Following lunch, you will embark on a shopping excursion. Tijuana's status as a tax-free zone and its booming economy offers a shopper's paradise. Guests will find plenty of crafts, tile, jewelry, and perfumes to bring home. Designer boutiques including Ralph Lauren and Guess offer the latest fashions at quality prices.
